A practice built around being useful before the decision
Vijay Bhalothia & Associates is a firm of Chartered Accountants based in Vadodara, Gujarat, serving businesses, institutions and families across India and abroad. The practice was built around a straightforward idea: that a Chartered Accountant should be close enough to a client’s business to be useful before a decision is made, not only after it has been reported.

What the firm actually does
The firm brings together audit and assurance, taxation, risk, transaction, management and financial advisory, overseas operations and fundraising support under one roof. That range matters because business problems rarely arrive neatly labelled — a tax question is often a structuring question, and a valuation question is often a governance question.
Our forensic accounting practice has produced reports that have been instrumental in matters before courts of law, alongside many out-of-court settlements, and the firm works with banks, regulators, the Economic Offences Wing and other investigative agencies.
Reliability
Consistent quality is a function of knowledge, skill and experience applied the same way on the hundredth engagement as on the first. Deadlines we accept are deadlines we meet.

How the practice grew

- 2011
The practice is founded
Vijay Bhalothia & Associates begins practice in Vadodara with a focus on statutory audit and direct taxation.
- 2014
Forensic practice established
The firm takes on its first bank-commissioned forensic assignments, building the investigation methodology still used today.
- 2017
GST transition
A dedicated indirect tax desk is set up to carry clients through the GST transition and the compliance cycle that followed.
- 2020
Advisory practice broadens
Risk, transaction and management advisory are formalised as distinct service lines alongside audit and tax.
- 2023
Overseas engagements
The firm begins delivering outsourced accounting and audit support for overseas clients under US GAAP and IFRS.

Our office is on Harni Road in Vadodara, and our engagements run across western India and overseas. Monday – Saturday, 10:00 am – 7:00 pm IST.
